Welcome to the
Collins Aerospace Day Academy
Why Collins Aerospace Day Academy?
Your child is special and it is our goal to attend to their personal development needs as well as provide parents with convenient child care services that are safe and dependable.
You are an important part of our Collins Aerospace Day Academy family and we have an “open door” policy which allows parents unlimited access to your child and the providers caring for them.
The Collins Aerospace Day Academy is well equipped to handle all your child care needs. We have 22 indoor classrooms as well as outdoor play areas and indoor multipurpose spaces.
Our programs are designed for infants through 5th grade students and feature STEM education for all children. We also provide special programs including Daytime Dancers and Little Sports Torts.
All our programs and child care areas are staffed by highly qualified staff in order to provide the best care for your child.
We use Creative Curriculum for observations, planning and assessment, and we have programs for infants, transitional nursery, preschool and prekindergarten children.
Indoor and Outdoor Play Areas
Our facilities feature large and spacious outdoor play areas with slides, a playhouse, games, sports balls and much more. We also have an indoor multi-purpose room/gymnasium that is used for a variety of activities.
In these areas, children participate in structured play as well as free play times to help them burn off some energy and keep them active!
Meeting New Friends
The Collins Aerospace Day Academy provides services for hundreds of children throughout the year. Your child will have the opportunity to interact with other children of various ages and learn about important social skills and make new friends along the way.
These new friendships are an important part of a child’s development process, and we encourage interaction with their classmates.
Helping Your Child Grow
As part of your child’s experience, we provide developmentally appropriate activities centered around cognitive and language skills. Depending on their ages, children will learn to master manipulative skills and be exposed to shapes, colors, letters and numbers by using sensory experiences, play with blocks, paint, read books, sing songs, develop motor skills and, of course, engage in free play!
All of these activities contribute to the healthy development of your child while in our care.
